Job description: Part-time | Hourly and/or Flat Rate All supplies, equipment, and paid-training provided Flexible Weekend Day (Saturday or Sunday) 5 Evenings per week | 2 locations | Evenings After 5:00PM Lakeville CT, Salisbury CT•
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within our customers' facilities on a weekly routine basis.
Duties:
  • Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Maintain cleanliness in various areas including restrooms, offices, and common spaces
  • Replenishing supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and janitorial closets
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Maintain a clean and organized appearance by straightening up chairs and carpet runners
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor of low stock
  • Report all concerns, complaints, or damage of property or building to supervisor immediately
  • Removing garbage from building at the end of the night by placing in dumpster or trash can
  • Maintaining cleanliness of all rags used and mops every week
  • Replacing vacuum bags as needed and reporting any damage or wear to supervisor
  • Responsible for safeguarding access keys and/or codes for certain facilities
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
  • Strictly adhering to the company time and attendance policies
Qualifications:
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices desirable
  • Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures preferred
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation guidelines
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
  • Proficiency in floor care methods including buffing is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Willingness to put the required effort into each day of work with desire to provide excellence
