Our Custodial Services team is looking for three dedicated Custodians to help us maintain a safe and clean environment across our East Campus facilities. We're looking for individuals who can multitask, efficiently operate cleaning equipment (including pressure washers). Excellent communication skills are required to understand and adhere to directions. You'll play a vital role in our mission to provide comfortable environment in which our students, faculty and staff can accomplish their educational and professional goals.
The ideal candidate will have:

Sweeps, cleans, and mops rest rooms including floors, sinks, urinals, commodes, and mirrors; polishes hardware, refills soap and towel dispensers as required. Empties wastebaskets, cigarette burns, and trash receptacles. Cleans chalkboards, erasers, chalk troughs, and replenishes chalk. Closes windows, turns off lights, and locks assigned areas. Dusts furniture, window sills, and other area equipment. Washes windows, cleans and polishes drinking fountains, and other area equipment. Working Conditions General Working Conditions This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 5-15 pounds.
