Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Shop Cleaner/PT to join our team, contributing to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our facility. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to support our operational standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness across various areas, adhering to safety protocols, and utilizing appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals. Your efforts will directly impact the safety, hygiene, and overall appearance of our workspace. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums to maintain floor care standards Handle chemical agents safely according to established safety procedures and protocols Maintain sanitation standards in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas Assist with custodial tasks such as window cleaning and surface disinfecting Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning supplies or equipment Support facilities maintenance activities as needed to ensure operational efficiency Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are required Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules Requirements Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience with floor buffers, buffing, and floor care is advantageous Familiarity with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning practices is a plus Ability to follow safety protocols diligently in a fast-paced environment Schedule & Pay Monday - Thursday 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm $15 hr If you are motivated by maintaining clean environments and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding part-time opportunity.
