Do you love the look of a clean space? South Florida Autism Charter Schools (SFACS) is looking for an experienced janitor to fill a position on our team. You'll keep our building impeccably clean, vacuum and mop floors, wash windows, empty trash, and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as needed. You will also assist with Security duties, including processing visitors and assisting with carpool. If you enjoy being a part of a team, we want to hear from you.

Pay:

$16 per hour; the position is hourly to start, but can grow to include benefits and paid time off.

Location:

SFACS Campus at RR Moten Elementary, 18050 Homestead Avenue, Miami, FL 33157.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:

Document areas cleaned and let managers know if major repairs need to be made Remove dangerous hazards and clean up spills with squeegees or sponges Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building Close and lock building doors for security once cleaning is complete Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily Assist with school security by processing visitors and assisting with carpool.

Qualifications:

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent Over 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job Must have a U.S. driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic About Company South Florida Autism Charter School is a nationally recognized, mission-driven organization dedicated to serving individuals with profound autism.
