The Day Porter will help keep the building's interior and exterior areas clean, organized, safe, and presentable throughout the day. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, takes pride in their work, and can complete daily responsibilities with minimal supervision. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred. Responsibilities Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms throughout the day. Maintain lobbies, hallways, common areas, and other shared spaces. Empty trash containers and replace liners. Sweep, mop, and spot-clean floors as needed. Clean doors, glass, and frequently touched surfaces. Conduct routine walks throughout the property. Pick up litter and debris from sidewalks, landscaped areas, and parking lots. Keep building entrances and exterior areas clean and presentable. Respond promptly to routine cleaning requests. Monitor cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and unusual conditions. Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies. Follow all company safety standards and cleaning procedures. Perform additional general cleaning and upkeep duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail. Professional attitude and willingness to assist tenants, visitors, and management when needed. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or building maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Must be available to work the full Monday-Friday schedule. Benefits Competitive pay of $16.00-$17.00 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
