Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our preschool. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring environments are spotless, safe, and welcoming by implementing effective cleaning and sanitation procedures. Your energetic approach will help create a hygienic atmosphere that exceeds family expectations, contributing to a positive experience for all. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation across various areas such as classrooms, bathrooms, main areas, and outdoor environments. Use provided cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure effective removal of dirt, stains, and debris while adhering to safety guidelines. Execute floor care routines such as carpet cleaning and floor maintenance to preserve surface quality. Follow strict cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in all environments. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting to move furniture or outdoor work with proper techniques to ensure safety. Communicate effectively with staff to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of janitorial equipment. Communicate with Director for any supply needs. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Proven ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks using various cleaning equipment and supplies. Experience in floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy lifting. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent client communication skills to understand customer needs and deliver outstanding service.
