The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cleaning environments, including commercial and residential settings. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and safe for occupants. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces. Carry out floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct janitorial and custodial duties, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, following safety protocols and procedures. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or maintenance needs to management. Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain an organized cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly. Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with commercial and new construction cleaning practices and standards. Experience in residential painting or porter duties is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames. Must be able to move from house to house. Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
