A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of bathrooms, clubhouses, gyms, and office while following established cleaning protocols and checklists. Restock soap, toilet paper and other supplies as needed.
Staging:
Ensure that each clubhouse is staged to perfection, including arranging furniture, fluffing pillows and organizing decor items to create an inviting and welcoming environment for residents.
Stocking and Inventory Management:
Regularly inspect inventory levels of essential supplies and cleaning products and report list of needed items to General Manager for purchase.
Maintenance Assistance:
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed to Maintenance Supervisor for prompt resolution.
Communication:
Maintain open and clear communication with the management team regarding cleaning requirements, and any resident or guest feedback. Adherence to
Standards:
Adhere to company and management standards and guidelines for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction, consistently delivering high-quality service that exceeds expectations.
Experience:
Previous experience in housekeeping. Hospitality or Amenity experience preferred. Self-starter and ability to work independently Excellent organizational and time management skills Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols and checklists. Reliable transportation to travel between multiple clubhouse locations. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings based on need. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
