Your primary focus will be supporting the kitchen and dining areas by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food prep, and ensuring smooth service flow. Duties Assist in food preparation by handling ingredients, assembling dishes, and supporting kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining and kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring a tidy environment for incoming guests Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and correctly Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers, ovens, and prep tools Support food handling processes adhering to sanitation standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, or prep stations is a plus Strong attention to detail in cleaning, food handling, and maintaining health & safety standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential!
