This role supports overall sanitation operations by following established procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe working environment. Schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00am-4:00pm Functions Of the
Position:
Works as part of the sanitation team to clean general plant areas and equipment and assists with refuse removal. Uses tools such as brooms, brushes, spray bottles, mops and ringers, squeegees, water guns, air guns, and vacuums. Maintains awareness of surroundings and follows all safety practices. Trains on and performs the seven steps of dry sanitation and/or the seven steps of wet cleaning. Conducts routine cleaning on assigned equipment, including assembly and disassembly as required. Completes required training courses, reviews and signs off on SSOPs and other sanitation documentation, and collaborate with sanitation staff to learn and perform sanitation tasks throughout the facility. Maintains a clean and organized work area and ensures the area is properly cleaned before the end of each shift.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
Previous sanitation experience is preferred but not required.
Skills and Competencies:
