Cleaner (Day Shift)

Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards. Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and carpet cleaners to maintain high-quality surfaces. Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning duties in various environments, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Assist with custodial responsibilities like restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining common areas. Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to keep the premises in excellent condition. Follow established health and safety procedures during all cleaning operations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and thoroughly. Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or residential painting is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
