What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities As a School Custodian, you are the backbone of the campus! Your daily custodial duties keep the school safe and running smoothly: Perform general cleaner tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting classrooms to ensure a healthy learning space. Serve as a dedicated custodian by ensuring all restrooms and common areas are sanitized, stocked, and ready for students. Work collaboratively as an on-site janitor to handle waste removal and maintain a clean, safe environment throughout the facility.
