A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Custodial/Groundskeeping Advanced Academics Academy Pooler, GA Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation Removing debris Pest control procedures Manual cleaning and decontamination technique Restroom cleaning Full Job Description Landscape Maintenance blowing off sidewalks, playgrounds and parking lots weed removal as needed removing trash that blows onto our property maintaining our sandboxes and play turf cleaning fencing from organic growth caring for our turtle and enclosure softwashing patios and porches cleaning exterior windows watering and caring for plants treating insects (ant beds, removing mud dauber nests, etc.) sanding and painting playground equipment as needed improving irrigation maintaining school garden beds seasonally Custodial Support floors
- vacuum, mop, sweep, remove debris, baseboards bathrooms
- sinks, counters, toilets, mirrors, supplies walls
- hand marks, scuffs, cleaning of high touch areas such as near door knobs and frames kitchen
- full weekly cleaning trash
- removal from common spaces maintenance of cleaning spaces, tools and equipment (wash trash cans, clean vacuum filters, etc.
