Job Description

Work Shift:
The EVS Tech engages in maintaining clean, sanitary and orderly conditions in the hospital. Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings, floors and equipment with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease. Also gathers and disposes of infectious wastes and trash. Collects soiled linens and transports to designated areas. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School graduate or GED equivalent

None.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
None.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Works with standard housekeeping equipment and supplies such as vacuums cleaners, brooms and small stripper machines.
