West Branch Schools is accepting applications for 2026-27 school year for the opening:

Part-time Custodian

8-10 hours a week

We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and dusting
• Maintain and clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Handle trash removal and ensure proper disposal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Monitor and report any repairs or replacements needed
• Follow safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or related roles preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and procedures
• Ability to perform floor care tasks including buffing and waxing
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
