Full Job Description PURPOSE :
To maintain the cleanliness of the entire plant inside and outside.
JOB SUMMARY
: Maintains the cleanliness of the plant, outside parking lot and grounds around the building. Keeps the entire facility as lint free and clean as possible. Empties waste receptacles and recycles plastic bags in soil sort. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
: Be on time Have excellent attendance Meet established cleaning procedures Follow all company safety rules Be able to work well with a diverse workforce Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor Follow all company policies and procedures Possess and maintain a positive attitude Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit Hours available 7am-3:30 pm or 11am-7:30 pm Must be able to work on Sunday from 6am-2:30 pm Days off on Saturday and 1-day of the week
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
: Cross-train in other positions per production needs. Be able to drive the resources when required, to access elevated areas of the production floor and assist when blowing down/removing accumulated lint.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day. Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling. Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as required by the job. Must be physically capable of performing overhead cleaning tasks, including blowing down lint from ceilings and elevated areas. Must be able to work safely at elevated heights, in accordance with company safety policies and required training.
