Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that our spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help create a positive experience for everyone who enters our premises. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold health and safety standards Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and hard surfaces as needed Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Support custodial operations during shift changes or special events to ensure continuous cleanliness Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us in creating clean, safe environments that make a difference every day!
