Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nail Salon Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. This role involves performing janitorial and custodial tasks specific to a salon setting, ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect salon stations, manicure/pedicure areas, waiting lounges, restrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance Perform routine janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, and surface cleaning Maintain cleanliness of equipment and tools used within the salon environment Ensure all high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly to uphold health standards Restock supplies such as towels, cleaning products, and hygiene items as needed Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage Assist with minor maintenance tasks like buffing floors or touch-up painting if required Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning is advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills and reliability in completing daily tasks efficiently Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light cleaning supplies, and perform repetitive motions Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with health standards This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional salon environment through diligent cleaning practices.
