Duties Operate POS systems such as Gilbarco POS and Retalix POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Assist customers with food service orders, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales opportunities Prepare food items according to safety standards and restaurant procedures, including basic food preparation tasks Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas to ensure sanitation and food safety compliance Operate kitchen equipment safely for food handling and preparation tasks in accordance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, managing food orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and register reconciliation Experience with food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is a plus Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while honing your skills in the vibrant food industry!
