Clarksville, IN Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Qualifications Moving Company vehicle operation Driver's License Full Job Description Join our team at Jeff Wyler Toyota Clarksville Body Shop as a Body Shop Assistant/Porter, where you will play a key role in supporting our body shop operations by ensuring vehicles are transported, organized, and maintained in a timely and professional manner. This position is based in Clarksville, IN, and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre and post repair cleanup/detailing of customer vehicles Clean and maintain work area and tools Receive and track parts as they enter the shop and dispatch accordingly Remove trash recycling materials from shop daily Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop Transport vehicles between the body shop, customer parking, and other designated locations safely and efficiently. Assist in keeping the body shop and surrounding areas clean and organized. Help with moving parts, equipment, and supplies as needed within the shop. Ensure vehicles are properly staged and ready for service or customer pickup. Report any vehicle or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly. Follow all safety and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Additional responsibilities as needed.
INDSJBR Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive and maneuver vehicles of various sizes safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items as required up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), Life and more.
