A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Position Summary:
The Custodian -2nd Shift cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary, comfortable work environment.
Ideal candidate:
Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship Ability to work 2nd Shift hours 2:30pm-11:00pm CST Monday-Friday) Ability to work weekends/overtime if required
Pay Rate:
$15.00-$17.00/hour plus $2.00 shift differential
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings Applies cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately Sweeps and vacuums floors Cleans stains from carpets and upholstery Damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and other surfaces Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, wash basins, and mirrors Identifies and reports needed repairs Washes windows Replenishes supplies, such as cafeteria and bathroom items Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
