The Facility Services Custodian is responsible for basic maintenance and upkeep of DRC facilities. Most duties are routine maintenance but may be assigned repairs and other responsibilities as needed. Work is overnights. What Winning Looks Like as a
Facility Services Custodian:
Upkeep and daily maintenance of facilities assigned by supervisors. Perform repairs and special maintenance projects as assigned. Available for special events as assigned. Make recommendations for the improvement of the facilities to the Facilities Services Coordinator. Responsible for the implementation of a daily and annual preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION
High school diploma preferred
EXPERIENCE
Background in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Functions may be performed in an environment that may cause exposure to ultra-violet rays and heat. Should be able to see and hear, sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk about and repetitively lift weights up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
A mature responsible person with knowledge of proper maintenance techniques and ability to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Must be 18 and possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
