Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitation to ensure cleanliness standards are met Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other floor care equipment to maintain high-quality flooring appearance Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and manual handling to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workspace Conduct routine maintenance of cleaning tools and facilities to support ongoing cleanliness efforts Adhere strictly to safety procedures during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and equipment operation Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility needs promptly and professionally Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, with familiarity in commercial or industrial cleaning environments Experience with floor buffing, sanitation procedures, and handling cleaning chemicals safely Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety protocol adherence

Pay:

$13.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
