Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety. Provide and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as required. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, buffers, and steam cleaners. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper techniques to prevent injury. Conduct outdoor cleaning activities such as trash removal, window washing, and maintaining outdoor spaces when necessary. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any maintenance issues encountered during shifts. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly using appropriate methods to prevent cross-contamination or hazards. Support housekeeping management by adhering to established procedures for residential cleaning projects. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy, property, pets, and household members of each client. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is required Experience with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, dusting, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina. Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific requests professionally. Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and able to work independently.
