Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitorial Worker and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and floor care to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and restocking supplies. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning machinery areas or large-scale facilities to uphold safety standards. Assist with custodial duties including trash removal, window washing, dusting, and general sanitation efforts. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines. Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to established procedures. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supplies used to ensure accountability and smooth operations. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, bend, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures; experience with residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus. Reliable team player with good communication skills who can follow instructions accurately.
