Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all areas. Clean surfaces such as countertops, windows, mirrors, appliances, and fixtures with suitable cleaning detergents. Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces by sanitizing sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during deep cleans or outdoor work. Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs or requests while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning environments with knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Strong floor cleaning skills including carpet cleaning, floor care maintenance, and outdoor work experience if applicable. Familiarity with various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, buffers, and steam cleaners. Ability to implement effective cleaning routines using appropriate detergents and disinfectants while adhering to safety guidelines. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Outstanding client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific housekeeping requests confidently.
