Kirwan Surgical Products LLC is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Janitor position in Marshfield, MA. Kirwan is a medical device manufacturer that produces electro-surgical devices in a controlled environment. The Janitor will be responsible for keeping the office, warehouse, and manufacturing areas clean. This includes cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, a gym, conference rooms, and other general areas. We currently have three full-time janitors and are looking to add to the team. Starting pay based on experience, with a 90-day review with an increase based on performance. Monday-Friday schedule, 7am-3:30pm. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance and disability as well as a generous 401k plan with an employer match. Responsibilities may include:

Maintaining building interior by dusting furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, ceilings; sweeping, mopping floors, and vacuuming carpeting. Cleaning and resupplying rest rooms. Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up papers and trash. Removes trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area; recycling materials. Knowledge of floor machines; keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines. Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity between shifts, noting areas requiring additional care or monitoring. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of materials, equipment and methods commonly employed in housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance operations. Ability to operate and care for electric cleaning equipment. Physical ability to withstand strain of performing manual tasks, i.e., move tables, furniture, desks, etc.
