USA Description This Office Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining and cleaning assigned work areas, offices, and buildings using company equipment and janitorial supplies. Removes waste and performs special cleaning projects as assigned. Position may involve cleaning Newburyport and/or Portsmouth facilities as directed. The hours for this role will be Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM . Responsibilities Performs industrial cleaning tasks, which include, but are not limited to: Conducts ongoing general cleaning and dusting in an office setting. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming assigned buildings, and assisting in cleaning other buildings as needed. Buffing, waxing, and stripping floors, as needed. Responsible for cleaning and organizing janitor closets. Empties trash baskets and brings daily waste to the exterior facility dumpster. Cleans the kitchen and all restrooms using the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Report any areas or issues requiring immediate attention or repair to the supervisor. Performs other routine and non-routine maintenance duties as requested and assigned. Qualifications Requires a minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. 6 months of previous experience in industrial janitorial or office cleaning. Proven track record of reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality. Good organization, attention to detail, and able to follow directions. Able to use a smartphone, laptop, or desktop to perform required company training. Able to use smartphone applications to respond to e-mails, submit time off requests, and monitor and complete work orders.
