Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and scrubbers Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk to health or environment Conduct floor care activities including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Manage heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies, equipment, or furniture while adhering to safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold facility standards Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability for staff and visitors Follow safety protocols consistently during all custodial tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings with knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices Strong attention to detail with a commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Experience operating floor buffers and performing various floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks related to custodial work and general upkeep Join our team as a Janitorial Laborer if you're passionate about creating clean, safe environments!
