Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking two experienced and reliable Janitors, preferably in the St. Mary's County area to join our team. The ideal candidates will maintain cleanliness and order within ther facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, and administrative spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, including tile, vinyl, hardwood, and carpet. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors. Restock restroom supplies such as soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels. Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and replace liners. Dust and wipe desks, tables, chairs, and windowsills. Clean interior glass for entry doors. Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and railings. Vacuum entry mats and maintain clean walkways to reduce dirt and debris. Lock and secure designated areas after cleaning when required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and sanitation practices. Ability to safely operate custodial equipment and cleaning tools. Understanding of OSHA safety requirements and chemical handling procedures. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, walking, and reaching. Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Job Types:
Part-time, Contract Pay:
$17.00 - $17.50 per hour
