In this energetic role, you will ensure the smooth flow of inventory, maintain a clean and organized environment, and support sales by stocking shelves and handling materials efficiently. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver an exceptional shopping experience while keeping our warehouse running seamlessly. Responsibilities Stock shelves with products accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper placement according to merchandising standards Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport inventory safely Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and retail space to promote safety and efficiency Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products and answering their questions in multiple languages if applicable Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items Skills Experience with warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials handling equipment operation (pallet jacks, forklifts) Familiarity with RF scanners, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising standards, and grocery store experience preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying stock quantities effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a vibrant team while gaining valuable experience in retail logistics.
