Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Summary Sparkle Commercial Cleaning is growing, and we are seeking new faces to join our team! We are a small local business that services most of Southern Maine. The right candidate(s) must represent themselves professionally, must be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task and be able to work with a team as well as independently. Experience is preferred but we encourage those without to still apply.
  • This position does require travel, so a valid driver license and reliable vehicle is are required. Travel to various client locations across Southern Maine ( Cumberland and York Counties)
  • This position requires dependability, reliability and the requirement to adhere to a set schedule from May-Oct.

Responsibilities Duties included but are not limited: Clean businesses, office locations or short-term rental properties Follow correct protocol to ensure a clean and orderly environment Keep tools and equipment clean, organized and in working condition Move reasonably small furniture as necessary Follow assigned tasks and checklists Report to manager for ALL needs Attend staff meetings as needed Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing cleaning tasks. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Skills MUST have Reliable transportation MUST have some weekend availability MUST be able to pass a background check Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred but not required Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment Strong attention to detail Strong time management skills Strong work ethic Strong Communication skills Ability to adapt to changes Ability to problem solve Ability to use the latest technology Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Flexible Scheduled- Season Full Time or Part Time May - Hiring for the following location: Standish, Old Orchard, Saco, Biddeford, Scarborough, Shapleigh, Newfield, Waterboro, Kennebunk, Portland, and surrounding areas.
  • High School Seniors, College Students and Teachers encouraged to apply
