Hunting, Dearborn Division is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Janitor to join our team in Fryeburg, ME. Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures. Clean and dust furniture, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, empty and clean trash receptacles, refill restroom dispensers, and replace light bulbs. Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc. Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors, vacuum, and shampoo carpets. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. Safely work from a ladder when required for the task. Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use only as directed. Move furniture, equipment, supplies or tools on a regular basis. Wash accessible interior and exterior windows, clean blinds, launder cleaning rags and dust mops. Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow, ice or debris from sidewalks, stairs, and roof tops in areas within sixteen feet of buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
Lock and unlock assigned buildings:
secure building when facilities are not in use checking for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants, turn off lights. May be required to escort outside contractors and assist where necessary. May require nights and weekends where production work restrictions exist. Other duties as requested by supervisor.

The employee is required to occasionally use hands to handle tools and inspect parts and equipment. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push material carts. Monday to Friday, day schedule, 8 or more hours per day. Pristine, climate-controlled facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.
