About Kennebec Cleans Kennebec Cleans provides professional apartment turnover and common-area cleaning services for residential properties throughout Central Maine. Our team focuses on reliability, strong communication, and delivering consistently clean, move-in ready units for our clients. We are looking for a Cleaning Technician who takes pride in their work and can help lead cleaning operations in the field. Position Overview The Cleaning Technician is responsible for completing apartment turnover cleanings, coordinating with Lead cleaners when working as a team, documenting completed work, and ensuring that units meet company cleaning standards.
Key Responsibilities Cleaning Operations:
  • Complete apartment turnover cleanings
  • Perform common area cleaning tasks
  • Ensure units are thoroughly cleaned and move-in ready
Team Coordination:
  • Coordinate with assistant cleaners when working as a team
Documentation & Reporting:
Supplies & Equipment:
  • A cleaning tote with basic supplies, mop, and vacuum will be provided for all cleaning duties.
Communication:
  • Communicate job status, schedule updates, or issues with the operations coordinator
  • Monitor operational messages during working hours Who This Job Is a

Qualifications Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently Good communication skills Ability to use a smartphone for reporting and communication Reliable transportation Work Expectations Travel between job sites is required Communication with the operations team occurs primarily through Slack Professional conduct is expected in client properties Compensation Starting pay: $18-$22 per hour depending on experience Flexible schedule. Anywhere from 8-24 hours per week to start. Additional hours may be available during peak turnover seasons. Opportunity for increased leadership responsibilities and pay as the company grows.
