A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Part time: 3-5 evenings per week. Job DescriptionROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaner/Janitor- Identify and clean areas that are soiled, unkept, or dirty.
- Clean, inspect and maintain all areas as outlined by the scope of work including, private offices, public areas, bathrooms, breakrooms, etc.
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor, in a safe and effective manner in conjunction with our Core Values
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Use common cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, dusters, brooms, and others Training
- Monthly check-ins/training:
- Equipment tutorials
- Equipment maintenance
- Cleaning techniques
- Identifying "dirtiness"
- Performance standards
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
(MUST HAVES)- HS Diploma, or GED
- 18 years of age
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, registration, and insurance
- Work well alone and/or with team members (work is done individually, but team accomplishes larger goals)
