1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities 3. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the positions, including lifting, bending, standing, and operating custodial equipment Reports to:

Maintenance Director Job Goal:

Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming school environment for students, staff, and visitors. Perform routine custodial and general duties to support the efficient operation of district facilities and the educational environment.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cleans and maintains assigned areas, including classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and other school facilities. 2. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, and maintain floors and other surfaces as needed. 3. Clean and sanitize restrooms, drinking fountains, fixtures, and other high-use areas 4. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of properly 5. Assist with setting up and cleaning up for school activities, meetings, and special events 6. Properly use and store custodial supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with established safety procedures 7. Perform other duties as assigned
