On-Call Support Staff Opening on: Jun 24 2026 04 Pay Commensurate with Experience Infrastructure Planning And Facilities 1143775 Position Summary(Basic Job Function) This is an on-call position. Provides food service, custodial, grounds maintenance, general labor or other main support on an on-call basis. Unit Position Summary "On-Call" isn't the best term for this role. This position will work Monday through Friday, 5am - 9am. That's guaranteed 20 hours weekly at $15.00-$16.00 per hour. •Join the dynamic IPF Custodial team to perform cleaning and maintenance activities that support MSU's mission of advancing knowledge & transforming lives! This position will engage in high performing, leading edge practices, using superior cleaning methods, equipment, and standards. Be a part of a growth-oriented and diverse group of professionals that support one another in keeping MSU facilities clean, safe, and beautiful! This position will perform cleaning and maintenance activities; understands and gives verbal or written instructions; reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs; removes snow with shovel or snow blower; retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products; works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community; serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety; maintains product inventory; makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.
