The Museum Custodian will be responsible for providing all cleaning/ janitorial services to the entire Gilmore Car Museum campus. The Museum Custodian will be responsible for cleanliness of all buildings, facilities, restrooms, administrative offices, administrative restrooms.
Skills & Abilities:
Ensure a clean working environment Sweep and mop floors in all areas of the museum and restroom facilities including admin office and restroom on GCM grounds. Clean sink, bowls, fountains, and other sanitary stations. Clean windows, polish metal, dust museum and all campus display cases. Collect and dispose of all trash. Replenish tissue, towels, soap, and other sanitary stations. Clean outer buildings daily and as needed. Clean offices on the administration side and empty trash, vacuum areas including library. Clean breakroom, including wiping down table and chairs, emptying trash, cleaning sink and countertops, microwave. Maintain equipment in cleaning room; Janitorial cart, mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, spray bottles, and vacuum. Perform any other janitorial work as needed in connection with museum operation. Laundry as needed for GCM facilities. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ability to clearly and professionally communicate both written and verbally and to follow oral and written instruction. Experience in Janitorial, building and grounds maintenance. Be able to work alone or with others. Be able to work weekends as needed. High School diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience
Required:
One (1) year of custodial or janitorial experience. Valid driver's license.
