Job Overview Join our team as a Part-Time Morning Janitor and be the cornerstone of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment! In this energetic role, you will take charge of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the store. Your proactive approach will ensure that our spaces are pristine, well-organized, and ready for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Maintain and operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to ensure sparkling floors Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to keep facilities well-equipped Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment Assist with light custodial duties related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles is highly preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with commercial cleaning environments is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the early morning hours.
