Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

We are currently seeking responsible individuals for full-time & part-time positions in the Kalamazoo, MI area. Custodians will be responsible for maintaining restrooms & other light cleaning tasks. Positions consist of working 30-40 hours weekly and days/evenings are required.

Responsibilities:

Clean restrooms - sanitizing sinks, toilets & urinals Wipe clean mirrors Wet mop entire floor Remove trash Restock soap, toilet tissue & paper towel dispensers Other light duty tasks such as vacuuming, hard floor care & litter control.

Skills:

Proven experience as janitor or custodian in similar role helpful but not required Knowledge of effectively using chemicals helpful but not required Requirements for position(s): Must be available days/evenings. Requires criminal background check.
