This is a highly visible position for someone who enjoys staying active, helping others, and taking pride in keeping a busy workplace clean and presentable throughout the day. The Day Porter will work while the facility is occupied, responding to cleaning needs as they arise and helping maintain a safe, professional environment for employees and visitors. Consistent attendance, strong attention to detail, and a helpful attitude are important in this role. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform light routine cleaning Sweep, mop, and address spills or other immediate cleaning needs Monitor high-traffic areas and respond to service requests throughout the shift Communicate facility or supply concerns to management Requirements Dependable and consistent attendance Ability to work professionally in an active manufacturing environment Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine custodial tasks
