What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Garageman is responsible for the maintenance and organization of the garage facility, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition. This role is crucial in supporting the operational efficiency of the organization by managing vehicle inspections, repairs, and inventory control.
Job Duties:
General building maintenance and repair tasks as assigned Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed Perform deliveries as required Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards Pick up and deliver parts from the Parts Department Maintains building and ground as needed, including snow removal. Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed

Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when necessary. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
