Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cleaning Technician and be a vital part of maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across various commercial and institutional settings. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality cleaning services that ensure spaces are spotless, hygienic, and professionally maintained. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for clients and visitors alike. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your custodial skills while contributing to a healthier environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain pristine surfaces Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas according to established standards Use janitorial supplies and cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently, adhering to environmental safety guidelines Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance Assist with waste removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates Knowledge of cleaning techniques Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift A positive attitude with excellent time management skills Avalable after 5pm for 2 hours, one day a week.
