Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Shift Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. This vital role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our commercial or industrial spaces during overnight hours. As a Night Shift Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing thorough cleaning, floor care, and custodial tasks. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming and safe atmosphere for all staff and visitors. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial, custodial, or porter experience who thrive working independently during night hours. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to maintain operational readiness Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and polishers Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues requiring escalation Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning operations and use of cleaning chemicals or equipment. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is preferred. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ability to follow safety guidelines related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
