This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple areas of the facility Handle chemical agents safely while using cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with safety protocols Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors and surfaces Conduct sanitation procedures in restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas to ensure health standards are met Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary Follow safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries during cleaning activities Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any equipment or supply needs promptly Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers and other custodial tools Strong manual handling skills with experience in heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety compliance Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with staff or visitors Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus Join our team to help create pristine environments that promote health, safety, and comfort!
