Job Summary:

This position is very diversified. The employee will maintain the plant for cleanliness and occasionally assist around the plant.

Status:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Overtime is available. The opening is on first shift, from 7am - 3pm. You must be available to work Sunday through Saturday and must be available to work weekends.

Job Duties:

Daily:

1.

Lunchroom/Bathrooms:

a) Sweep b) Mop c) Empty trash containers d) Wipe down vending machines, counters, tables and walls e) Clean/sanitize toilet and sink 2. Empty all trash containers. 3. Empty dust collectors and tilt hoppers under dust collectors. a) Sweep around and under dust collectors 4. Empty/tilt hoppers a) Trash in applicable 3 yard or 10 yard container 5. Sweep the floors in the plant. 6. Load and unload truck as needed. 7. Load furnaces as needed. 8. Sort parts when needed. 9. Stack parts when needed. 10. Paint when needed. 11. And all other related duties.

Weekly:

1.

Outside:

a) Police entire perimeter including the parking lot, truck well and street. 2. Take propane cylinders to refill truck, exchange and replace to storage rack. 3. Sweep floors in the plant and around equipment.

Monthly:

1. Clean quench tanks. 2. Sweep floors in the plant, around equipment and corner to corner.

Quarterly:

1. Renew stripes on the floor. 2. Paint guardrails and equipment as needed.

Educational/Technical Requirements:

High-school graduate or GED. Reading, writing, and math skills are essential to the job classification.

Interaction:

To maintain a good personal relationship with management and co-workers. Transfer of information from shift to shift is critical so co-worker has the knowledge of the work in process.
