Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair perishable header tooling in support of the header department. Issue tooling to Work orders and to the floor. Ability to measure and inspect header tool to detect issues and insure to specification. Able to read and understand too prints and tool assembly prints. Ability to utilize Hobbing press to disassemble and assemble tools. Ability to operate tool room machines to repair tools if needed (lathe, I.D/O.D grinder, hone and surface grinder) is a plus. Interface with colleagues to distribute items from crib and properly perform transactions in the ERP system, transacting both incoming and outgoing items to the floor.

Work Environment:

Clean, professional, well-kept manufacturing plant Non air conditioned environment

Physical Demands:

80% of the time sitting Will require walking and standing as well for 10 hr. shift Lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 30 lbs. regularly Attention to detail is required

Requirements:

Education and Experience Required:

3 years of cold heading experience or die assembly/repair in a cold heading environment. Basic computer skills; email, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Ability to work in a team environment. Attention to detail. Monday through Friday, 10 working hours daily. Saturday work when necessary.

Position Type/Expectations of Working Hours:

Hourly position Monday through Friday, minimum 8 working hours daily Occasional Saturday when necessary
