Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle cleaning supplies and chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety procedures. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and execute floor care routines to maintain a spotless appearance. Conduct routine inspections of public spaces to identify maintenance needs or sanitation issues, promptly addressing any concerns. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or cleaning equipment to ensure efficient workspace organization. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical handling, and safety compliance for accountability and quality assurance. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Demonstrated knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment. Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and safety protocols related to sanitation products. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping roles will be advantageous in understanding guest expectations and operational procedures. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) ensures safe work practices at all times.
