Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Environmental Services Technician, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized. This protects everyone from potential illness or injury due to infectious diseases or other hazards.
Every day, you will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting. You will also use specialized equipment and techniques to further sanitize our facility. This role requires you to learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects. You may also refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies, as well as deliver clean linens.

A well-maintained facility with compassionate staff brings comfort and peace of mind to patients, their loved ones, and all who serve here. Thoroughly clean and stock all assigned areas daily Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning duties of assigned areas Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Required Ability to work with minimal supervision Problem solving skills Ability to work varied shifts, every other weekend and holiday Excellent cleaning skills Reliable attendance Customer service skills
