Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure safety and compliance with safety protocols. Conduct sanitation tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards. Operate custodial equipment effectively, including floor buffers, scrubbers, and other cleaning machinery to maintain floor care excellence. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized repair services to ensure facilities are well-maintained. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing cleaning requests promptly and professionally from staff or visitors. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools efficiently. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while adhering to safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
